The Date with Nature project provides a unique showcase of New Forest Wildlife.
Working with the RSPB, our funding helped to provide training and support to the team of volunteers, without whom this project could not survive.
Open 7 days a week and completely free of charge to attend, it offers a great opportunity to get outdoors, explore and find out more about the New Forest flora, fauna and natural heritage.
During the season almost 100 people visit a day – and there are extra activities for children in school holidays and the cutting edge “Raptor cam” technology shows live footage of goshawks and hobbies birds.
